Full payment must be completed before goods are prepared and dispatched. Payment can be made via PayPal (via a PayPal account) or via a credit or debit card (these payments are also processed by PayPal as a one-off card transaction but do not require an acccount or for one to be created).

Right to cancel

You have the right, under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, to cancel any order, within 14 days without giving any reason, except any product type that is specifically excluded in the act.  On the countyflowers.co.uk website, some product are excluded under this act.  Please see sections Allowable Cancellation and Exempt from Cancellations below.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post (address as below) or e-mail to sales@countyflowers.co.uk).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel your purchase, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods to County Flowers, 8 East Reach, Taunton, Somerset TA1 3EN, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Allowable Cancellations

Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) set by the "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013" apply to some goods purchased at the countyflowers.co.uk website. Goods may be returned within 14 days following receipt of the item(s), provided that they are returned in the original packaging, in the same condition and notification of your intent to return has been made in writing (email to sales@countyflowers.co.uk is accepted).

In line with "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013", personalised, customised or any other product where an adjustment has been made at the customers request (that prohibits re-sale to another customer) are excluded and cannot be returned.  See "Legal Notice" for full details.

In the event that your goods are not as you expect, please email us with details within 24 hours of delivery.

Exempt from Cancellations

Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) set by the "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013" includes an exception for perishable items (including all fresh flowers) and for personalised items (where wording has been chosen or specified within the purchase). Once preparation of your order is underway, order cancellation is not possible.

Picking Errors

We accept full responsibility for the wrong goods in the event of a picking error; please follow the returns process and we will correct at speed, including refund of your return postage costs.


As flowers are always subject to seasonal or supplier unavailability, we reserve the right to change one or more of the contents (from that shown in product images) or packaging for all requested floral arrangements or gifts to provide an item of equal or greater value without notice. All products are subject to availability.

Flowers will often be delivered in bud to ensure longer life.

Flowers and Plants may be harmful or poisonous, if you are unsure please contact us. Please do not eat the flowers and plants.

If County Flowers Ltd are unable to supply the product selected or another substituted product to you, we shall contact you as soon as possible and will reimburse your payment in full within 14 days of the intended delivery date.


Prices of goods on the website are subject to change without notice.

Prices include VAT charged at the prevailing rate but exclude delivery charges.  These are calculated in the checkout.

If you order flowers and gifts for the same delivery address, for the same delivery date only one delivery charge will apply.

Order Acceptance

To effect delivery on the date required for Floral Arrangements, Chocolates or Gifts, we require complete and accurate details of the recipient, including a full name, address details including postcode and contact telephone number.

Your order will only be processed if full payment details are given and payment cleared. We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards and Paypal Account transactions, your payment is processed as soon as we receive your order. Please note that payment via PayPal “eCheque” will result in a delay until the “eCheque” is fully processed and cleared.

We will send you an email confirming your order details. This email will be sent to the email address you have supplied to us during order placement. It will include an order reference number for future correspondence.

Statutory Rights

We are committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you are unhappy in any way with the service you have received please email us with full details of your complaint. If we are satisfied that your complaint is valid a suitable replacement will be delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


Whilst we agree to use all reasonable endeavors to ensure that the our website and delivery service is fully operational, we cannot guarantee this and, therefore, accept no responsibility for  defects and/or interruption of same and shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control which renders the provision of the services impossible or impractical.

Our liability in contract, tort (including negligence and breach of statutory duty) or otherwise arising by reason of or in connection with your order with us shall be limited to a multiple of 5 times the price you have paid for the products.

We exclude all liability for any claims, losses, demands and damages, including without limitation, any costs, loss of profits, loss of contracts or business opportunity, loss of data and any other consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising directly or indirectly out of or in any way connected with your use or inability to access the County flowers Site and Delivery Service, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise PROVIDED THAT nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions affects or will affect your or the recipient's statutory rights in relation to the quality, fitness or description of the products supplied.
